Share your experience: Help shape age-friendly built environments

The Housing LIN and ARUP, in partnership with the Centre for Ageing Better, are developing a series of Quick Guides to help make our built environment more age-friendly.  

We are now looking for examples of successful age-friendly initiatives in these areas that can be highlighted in our guides.

Please share your experiences by completing this short survey by Friday 28th November, 5pm.

New Advisory Board convenes to shape age-friendly housing programme

The Housing LIN SHAPE Exchange Board held its first meeting for a new five-year Vivensa Foundation-funded programme, uniting experts to guide inclusive, age-friendly housing. Chaired by Professor Rose Gilroy, the Board will shape HAPPI- and TAPPI-inspired homes. Further updates arrive in 2026!

It highlights an urgent need to ensure more mainstream homes are decent and accessible for an ageing society.
