Following the Welsh Assembly’s 2017 Inquiry report (opens new window), this review commissioned by the Welsh Government, takes a look at the key mechanisms in intergenerational practices, and their effectiveness at reducing loneliness and social isolation.

Conducted by the University of Sheffield, it set out 8 recommendations to inform future policy and practice development, including adoption of housing interventions such as homeshare, care and repair and extra care housing.
