Scunthorpe , North Lincolnshire Homes Ltd.

Description of Scheme

The scheme provides 8 apartments of 1/2 bed accommodation based upon the HAPPI design criteria including:

  • open plan living
  • dual aspect
  • sliding doors
  • shared external zones
  • and balconies.

The homes have been specifically designed for people with disabilities and learning difficulties with lots of special features.

They have been designed in a way which allows people who may not before been able to live in their own home to have more independence.

The homes are all open plan to allow for ease of movement and orientation and each apartment block is colour coded to be easily recognisable. Colour panels are used externally for ease of orientation for users.
