Feedback

  • Very interesting and varied papers showing the range of challenges in housing for older people.
  • Showcased some great work which should be an inspiration for us all.
  • Very informative and helpful oversight into the measures being taken to review and meet the differing housing needs of an ageing population.

Overview

Co-Chaired by Joanne Kirrane, Executive Director of People, Homes and Communities at Melin Homes and Chair of Housing LIN Cymru, and Jeremy Porteus, Chief Executive at Housing LIN, this session provides a 'marketplace' of presentations by Steering Group members sharing the latest innovative housing for older people projects, developments and programmes underway in Wales.

These include:

  • regenerating communities for age-friendliness
  • addressing decarbonisation
  • new innovative models of housing
  • technology and the TAPPI project
