With the spotlight on a new NHS 10-year plan, the session will examine the work of the Centre for Ageing Better’s Good Homes Hub initiative and recent report demonstrating why it is vital to keep our housing stock warm and safe for improved health and wellbeing. This will be followed by:
- The work of Arcardis on designing a better health architecture for healing and research on creating caring places and the links with housing
- An update on the NIHR SSCR funded research undertaken by the LSE on the links between housing and local environment with older people’s care needs, care use and care costs, and
- An insight into Ouri Labs at health impacts within a community-led approach
