Overview
On the eve of the national Housing Design Awards, we began our Autumn/Winter series of HAPPI Hour webinars by bringing together leading European researchers, architects and commissioners to share how local communities are taking forward age-friendly design.
Supported by P+HS, the webinar brought together:
- Researchers from the HOUSE Project in Belgium, and their recent white paper on housing, well-being and older people, sharing some of their insights and findings from this four year project, and the practical tools to support a clear call to action
- P+HS Architects present their most recent work on age-friendly design
- And North Yorkshire Council will share how they are broadening their Extra Care offer to bridge the gap with social care and meet the needs of their locality.
