Webinar Recording - Pride and overcoming prejudice – Making safe choices

Last week's HAPPI Hour webinar celebrated Pride Month in two parts. It first showcased a new impact project enhancing access for older LGBTQ+ individuals in London and explored safe choices. It then went on to examine inclusive care housing models, highlighting initiatives in Manchester and research from the University of Kent.
The recording is now live and available to watch.
Housing LIN Viewpoint 109: Making the case for funding care and extra care housing

Ahead of tomorrow's HAPPI Hour webinar on Carers in Extra Care Housing, we are pleased to share this Housing LIN Viewpoint by John Payne (Founder, Matters Grey), calling for bold, innovative funding for long-term care. It explores leveraging housing wealth, shared ownership, and risk-pooling schemes.
Advocating investment in extra care housing and inheritance tax reform, it urges political leadership to transform adult social care amid rising pressures and unmet needs.
