In celebration of this year's Global Intergenerational Week, we're excited to kick off today's HLINks newsletter with a reminder about next week's HAPPI Hour webinar. Housing LIN signs up to Save our Supported Housing Campaign

The Housing LIN is proud to be a signatory to the National Housing Federation’s campaign, #SOSHousing.
Over 150 other organisations and charities have signed a letter to the Prime Minister and the Chancellor of the Exchequer urging government to invest in supported housing.
Housing LIN visits Elim Housing Association’s Elizabeth Close

The Housing LIN team was delighted to visit Elim Housing Association’s Elizabeth Close this month — a thoughtfully designed 6-unit independent living scheme for people with learning disabilities, delivered in collaboration with Noma Architects.
Complete our survey to help shape practical tools to support older people in your community

Centre for Ageing Better, ARUP, and Housing LIN are working together to develop practical tools and resources to help councils take an age-friendly approach to planning, policy, and service delivery.
We are inviting people working in all kinds of councils in the UK to complete an online survey to help us understand what would help them to better meet the needs of their older residents, now and in the future.

The Financial Benefits of Supported Housing

This research briefing from the National Housing Federation (NHF) gives their latest findings and statistics on the financial benefits of supported housing.
Coinciding with the NHF's Save Our Supported Housing campaign, the new statistics offered in the briefing show that building enough supported homes to meet projected need by 2040 could save the public purse £6bn every year at today’s prices.
