TAPPI Phase 2 - Introducing Platform Housing Group

Platform Housing Group is a social landlord. We build and manage local affordable homes, services and communities across the Midlands. We own over 47,000 homes, 3,310 of which are supporting housing and housing for older people.  We are a strategic Homes England partner have built more social and affordable homes in England than any other social housing provider. We are committed to digitally enabled support delivery that gives our customers choice, increases satisfaction and enables a ‘home for life’.

We do all of this because People Matter. Our work is centred around collaboration with local customers and partners. We want to create  stronger, healthier, and thriving communities with services and community-owned projects that are tailored to the needs of our customers.

Why do you want to be a part of TAPPI?

We want to play a full, active and positive part in helping our later life customers to live empowered, engaged and independent lives. A home is for life and for living and we want to do all we can to influence and enable future-focussed thinking to help make this happen.

What impact do you hope to have?

A positive, productive and life-changing one! We want to see our later life customers embracing change, challenging stereotypes and truly living their best technology-enabled life.

What are you most looking forward to over the next 12 - 15 months, as one of the six TAPPI2 locality testbeds?

We are looking forward to playing a full part in the drive to deliver change for older people. The connections we make and the shared thinking we contribute to will bring real results for the customers we support daily. We are excited to see the impact the work has on their lives and the wellbeing benefits it will bring.
