The Social Services and Well-being (Wales) Act
This Act became law on 1 May 2014 and provides the legal framework for improving the well-being of people who need care and support, and carers who need support in Wales.
With specific clauses on the local authorities' social service functions and the duties and powers to meet the care and support needs of adults, including accommodation and at home care and support services that may be provided such as aids and adaptations.
