Collaborative Research for Ageing in Place: Stories of Co-Production in Practice
This book by the Manchester Urban Ageing Research Group (MUARG) brings together insights from18 projects. Framed by the World Health Organization’s Age-Friendly Charter and Manchester’s status as a leading age-friendly city, it shares practical learning on co‑producing research in communities shaped by inequality – highlighting partnership, trust‑building and experimentation as essential ingredients for impactful research.
The book is set out in 4 Parts, with a range of coproduced contributions in each section, under the following headings:
- Part I - Working together for age-friendly places
- Part II - Centring lived experience
- Part III - Co-production in practice
- Part IV - Reflections and future directions
