Orchard Meadows
Banbury, Bedfordshire Pilgrims Housing Association

Description of Scheme

This well designed scheme provides spacious apartments that have been designed to provide an enabling environment to help support independant living. Care and the management of Orchard Fields is provided by The Orders Of St John Care trust. The care staff are trained and provide a high level of care and needs are assessed and a flexible tailored made care plan is delivered in your new home.

Orchard Fields Extra Care development provides independant living within a secure and comfortable environment. Both Cherwell District Council and Oxfordshire County Council have contributed to offering this scheme for the over 55's who live in Oxfordshire County or for those who have a connection to the area. The Orders of St John Care Trust are working in partnership with Key Homes East to manage the scheme and provide care. The development requires that there is a minimum care requirement of at least 4 hours a week and the carers are trained to provide both personal and domiciliary care.

Where Is It?

Banbury is a thriving market town and civil parish on the River Cherwell in the Cherwell District of Oxfordshire and 21 miles from the county town of Oxford. It holds a Market day each week.

The Orchard Fields development is in a post war council/social housing and the site overlooks local park.
