Description of Scheme

Centenary Close accommodation compromises of 10 one bedroomed flats and 3 x two bedroomed houses all fully furnished. The service will be open to single people and families who would benefit from supported accommodation.

The key objective of their Service is to help Ex-Services/Veterans to rebuild their lives through the provision of short term accommodation and person centred support that will enable service users to move on and resettle in the community with a home and job.

The Service can accommodate single people and families and aims to improve the Ex-services/Veteran's personals social, educational and home management skills so that they are enabled to secure and sustain a job and a suitable home in the community.

Centenary Close in Maryport is in the North West region of England. The postcode is within the Ewanrigg ward/electoral division, which is in the constituency of Workington.

It is part of the RSL housing estate (Home Group) with two schools and community centre close by.

Care Services

• There is a support worker who will support service users back into work, education, and training and support them to find secure accommodation in the community - they will deliver bespoke
• Support packages which will focus on the individual needs for the customer.
• A Housing Management Worker on site will carry out any health and safety of the building, managing the client's tenancy and any general aspects of the housing management.

• There is a communal garden and each property has their own garden space
• There is a communal hub for socialising and for group work activities

• The staff office is based within the Hub where support sessions and meetings can be held in private.
