This scheme consists of 40 new 1 and 2 bed apartments for older people able to sustain independent living. It meets the HAPPI criteria as well as the BREEAM Very Good assessment. Furthermore, 6 units are designed to be adaptable for full-time wheelchair users.

There are warden's that visit daily but the scheme is not staffed 24 hours a day.

This scheme is for older people able to sustain independent living. Communal lounge with kitchenette plus additional communal seating areas provided, also guest suite and assisted bathroom and communal gardens. Warden visits daily but not staffed 24 hours. The borough operates a "core" scheme system for sheltered housing and residents of the new scheme will be linked to their nearest "core" for activities such as chairobics, crafts etc.
