Desmond court consists of 14 one bedroom apartments designed for older people with learning disabilities and dementia. It includes two apartments for people with profound and multiple disabilities. The scheme is a hub that provides support to other supported housing residents on the estate.
HAPPI criteria has been addressed in the design including most flats well in excess of (something), mainly dual aspect, south facing with private balcony or terrace. The paint colour finishes are designed to assist circulation. AT incorporated wet rooms, code for sustainable homes level 4 including PV panels.
