Bramble Court
Brampton, Impact Housing Association Ltd

Description of Scheme

This Extra Care Housing Scheme can cater for those with dementia, other learning disabilities and other care needs.

The building is traditional brick and block with concrete floors built to dementia friendly standards using the HAPPI criteria for all finishes.

All flats are equipped with a full telecare system for 24 hour responsive care to support independent living.

There is a biomass central heating system for the scheme, helping it to remain sustainable.

Where Is It?

This scheme is located on a brownfield site, that was originally the old school for the town, but latterly used as a community centre for the local community in a rural town.

Part of the community centre was demolished to build the new development, which is in keeping with the local surroundings.
