Ahead of her appearance at our HAPPI Hour webinar on 3 November, architect and urban researcher Dr Elisa Pozo Menéndez looks back on the 3rd International Conference on Age-Friendly Cities and Communities in San Sebastián and a roundtable on intergenerational housing in Spain. She argues that housing is part of a wider ecosystem of neighbourhoods, social networks, and health and care services, and that real choice in later life also means helping people plan ahead and shape their own later lives, including those experiencing frailty or increasing care needs.

Book now to hear Elisa speak at our event, ‘From caring places to neighbourhood health’, on 3 November, 4-5pm.
