#NationalEyeHealthWeek: Sight Loss, Home and the Built Environment

Vision really matters. Sight is the sense people fear losing the most. It’s therefore unsettling to know that one in five people aged 75 and over and one in two aged 90 and over are living with sight loss that has a significant impact on their daily lives.

Because of this, it’s essential that we explore the issues facing people with sight loss in their daily lives and understand the importance of well-designed housing, practical advice and support, social connections, and appropriate technology.

For #NationalEyeHealthWeek (opens new window), we would like to highlight our Sight Loss, Home and the Built Environment webpages, sponsored by architects, West Waddy Archadia, where you'll find resources, reports and individual stories around this topic.
