ISPA celebrates four years of tackling stigma around ageing, disability and place

We are delighted to share the Year Four update from the Intersectional Stigma of Place-Based Ageing (ISPA) project, marking another significant year of research, co-production and learning.

Over the past year, the project has reached important milestones in its data collection and analysis, while continuing to explore how inclusive design, housing and neighbourhoods can help challenge stigma linked to ageing, disability and place.

The update brings together progress from across ISPA’s work packages, including quantitative and qualitative research, the work of Community Peer Researchers, new case studies on accessibility and housing practice, and plans for a learning module to help organisations better understand and tackle stigma.

As ISPA now enters its fifth and final year, the team would like to thank everyone who has contributed to and supported the project so far.
