Housing LIN sponsor Everon UK celebrates a new Inspirational Achievement through its partnership with East Kent Colleges Group (EKC), bringing real-world digital care technology into classrooms across six campuses.

Around 150–200 students from health and social care, engineering and electrical courses are gaining hands-on experience in simulated care environments, testing connected care products and exploring how technology is transforming independent living.

The initiative encourages innovation, digital confidence and problem-solving while helping shape the next generation of compassionate care professionals. Formalised through a Memorandum of Understanding, the collaboration highlights the value of education and industry working together to deliver smarter, safer care.
