Homes England updates Building for a Healthy Life guidance

Homes England have further updated its 2020 design guidance toolkit for neighbourhoods, streets, homes and public spaces to support secure design and placemaking quality across development it supports.

Adopting a ‘traffic lights’ rating system, the toolkit now makes reference to what good looks like, including in relation to downsizers, specialist and supported living. It also recognises the importance of the built environment in enabling older people to stay connected to everyday life.
