COVID-safety living and working from home are reshaping house sharing

This new blog, written by Nick Henley of Cohabitas, delves into the effects that the initial Covid-19 national lockdown had on our home-working habits, and the learning points that can be taken from experiencing it.

Among some of the key point of reflection that are put forward in the blog are:

  • Most people carried on as normal in light of the first lockdown, with another large group of people choosing to stock up on basic items, books and projects to enable them to stay at home more
  • Many people found the period very difficult due to financial or social issues.
  • There was a split in the preferences between landlords and tenants regarding social distancing at home
