Overview
This HAPPI Hour webinar brought together sector leaders to explore regional housing innovation, best practice and the future of accessible housing in Scotland.
Timed within the wider context of current policy debate and sector reflection, this webinar highlighted both opportunities and challenges facing older people’s housing provision.
Contributors included Michael Driscoll, Chief Executive of Horizon Housing Association, who drew on insights from the Scottish Accessible Housing Network, which continues to drive forward a national call to action for more inclusive and accessible housing across Scotland.
The session also included discussions on sector priorities following the recent election cycle, alongside shared learning from designing and delivering highly accessible, technology-enabled housing that supports independent living.
