Architectural Design Standards for Elderly Care

Hi, Sunderland City Council have a design guide for extra care and a separate one for designing for dementia in extra care. They are both available in the HousingLIN reference docs along with other useful guides, or on www.sunderland.gov.uk/extracare . If you need a PDF sending please email me at [log in to view email address]. This may not give you the full technical spec you are looking for but will be a good start.

Can anyone advise on where I can access detailed information regarding technical guidance for architects designing elderly care residencies? For example, minimum requirements and design standards.
