Community Capital: The Value of Connected

This report from the RSA's Connected Communities programme is the result of five years working with a number of communities across the country, testing different types of practical intervention.

The programme concludes that investing in interventions which develop and sustain social networks generates four kinds of dividends

  1. wellbeing
  2. citizenship
  3. capacity
  4. economic

There are useful examples of how housing providers have both been engaged with strengths based approaches to support residents build effective social networks.
