Introduction to urban environments and mental health

This paper is the first in a series by Ryder Architecture which explores how we can design for improved mental health in our neighbourhoods, towns and cities.

It looks at the effect of poor mental health generally but also considers the interaction between our environment and mental health and we good design can proactively improve mental health.
