Housing to 2040 - A vision for our future homes and communities

This document sets out the Scottish Government's draft vision and principles for 2040 and how to get involved in the conversation around how to plan the future of housing and communities in Scotland.

It includes, amongst others, the challenge of an ageing population and increasing demands on health and social care, the need for different housing options and promotion of greater adaptability to allow people to live independently at home for longer.
