Emily currently works in land and development at Inspired Villages, delivering Integrated Retirement Communities (IRCs).
Her first introduction to the property industry was as an apprentice in a regional construction company. Emily gained boots on the ground knowledge of how things are built across housing and commercial projects. She then moved to the development team as an Assistant Development Manager working on housing development projects and across three joint ventures with local authorities.
Emily completed a Building Surveying undergraduate degree at Sheffield Hallam on day release and then moved to a local authority in the Growth and Enterprise team, working on government funded projects. Emily's experience has given her a broad view of private and public sector practice and she has had a full involvement from receiving the initial red line boundary plan to sorting defects post occupation.
