Elke Ielegems Postdoctoral Researcher and Guest Professor, Hasselt University
Elke Ielegems is an architect, postdoctoral researcher and guest professor at Hasselt University in Belgium. Her research focuses on human-centred design, grounded in the lived experiences of older adults and more vulnerable groups. She explores how housing design can respond to changing lives and societies and contribute to wellbeing and inclusion. Elke is part of the interdisciplinary HOUSE project and works as its valorisation coordinator, connecting research with practice through close collaboration with societal partners.
