Around the Toilet: A research project report about what makes a safe and accessible toilet space

Over the course of nearly three years, this report looks at the findings from a research project that sought to identify what makes a safe and accessible toilet space.

Written by doctors at Sheffield Hallam University and the University of Edinburgh, the report acknowledges that toilet provision in the UK is currently inadequate for a wide range of people.

Also mentioned within the findings are issues surrounding trans and disabled people's experiences with toilet access and it looks at why toilets are so important in public spaces.
