New streamlined Court of Protection procedure

The Court of Protection has revised its procedures to streamline applications to authorise deprivations of liberty in "community settings". This new procedure will allow appropriate cases (e.g. where there is no suggestion of objection to the deprivation of liberty) to be processed "on the papers" - without an oral hearing.
