Housing and Ageing: Linking strategy to future delivery for Scotland, Wales and England 2030

Housing and Ageing

This new report from Stirling University, jointly branded by the Housing LIN and other organisations, looks at the future of housing in the UK, and has been submitted to the UK, Scottish, and Welsh governments in a bid to ensure a joined-up approach to housing across the UK.

Housing and Ageing: Linking Strategy to future delivery for Scotland, Wales and England 2030, recommends that housing should play a central role in the provision of services for older people.

It also calls for new adaptable and affordable housing to be built; investment in early intervention; and meaningful consultation with older people.

Housing LIN have been essential partners on our strategic programme looking at Housing and Ageing: Linking strategy to future delivery for Scotland, Wales and England 2030. The recommendations from this report were centred on communicating, collaborating and co-producing more effectively and the resources Housing LIN brings together is essential information to support these activities in the housing sector.
