Homeshare Report 2025

The report highlights how the primary reason for someone to consider a homeshare arrangement in 2025 was security, followed by loneliness then memory issues, closely followed by poor mobility. It details statistics on other drivers for homeshare, the benefits reported by homesharers, including reduced loneliness, and offers case studies of homesharers living with dementia, Parkinson's Disease and arthritis.

Arguing that homeshare is an adaptable model that can be tailored to most people’s needs, the report includes a call to action for policymakers to recognise homeshare as a part of housing and social care strategy.
