Future Leaders Programme: Housing LIN opens call for applications to its new early career cohort

We're thrilled to announce plans for the 3rd cohort of our Future Leaders Programme.
With thanks to Inspired Villages Group’s support, we want the new programne to be a small, diverse and dynamic community of younger, early career individuals. We are now looking for 8 committed people with an interest in housing for an ageing population to be part of our third intake.
Programme overview
Starting in July 2023, the programme will provide a valuable opportunity for successful applicants to learn through the lived experience of a selection of industry leaders about what/who inspired or influenced them and what qualities they looked out for to enable them to then develop their own leadership styles and credentials. Each session will encourage and create space for open discussion and skill sharing.
The 2023 cohort of Future Leaders can look forward to a series of three in-person or online sessions through the year. In return, each Future Leaders will be invited to write a guest Housing LIN blog about their experience of being part of the group and the learning and insights they have gathered during the course of the programme. In addition, they will be invited to present on these at the Housing LIN’s 2024 Annual Summit – A Festival of Ideas.
Reflecting the Housing LIN’s commitment to lifelong learning, diversity and inclusivity, the programme is aimed at early career individuals with no more than 3 years’ experience in their current role.
Jeremy Porteus, CEO at Housing LIN, commented:
"If our 2nd cohort is anything to go by, this is a brilliant opportunity for someone who is at an early stage of their career to gain invaluable insights into leadership which will stay with them for the rest of their working lives.”
