Released ahead of Global Intergenerational Week 2026, this report from United for All Ages pulls together 26 intergenerational projects that have inspired their supporters recently.

It provide a concise directory of practical projects that can impact locally, nationally and globally. They are grouped under four themes; homes and communities, care and learning, culture and sport, and today for tomorrow.

Housing LIN members will be particularly interested in the homes and community theme and reference to

The 26 ideas have been ‘crowdsourced’ from a wide range of policymakers and practitioners, including the Housing LIN. They have nominated practical projects that could be rolled out more widely.

Local and national governments are urged to back the growing intergenerational movement with joined up community strategies and resources and by creating national ‘committees of the future’.
