Sheffield Hallam University report - Better housing, better health in London Lambeth

David Griffiths 24/05/18 Health & wellbeing

The purpose of this Sheffield Hallam University report is to illustrate how Lambeth Council can ‘build homes and support healthy lifestyles for everyone.’

The report from the university's Centre for Regional Economic and Social Research, focuses on how a renovation of Lambeth’s council housing stock can lead to healthier living conditions.

Another ambition of this document is to demonstrate how healthier lives better contribute to the economy, as well as relieving pressure on health and social care service in this era of austerity and pressure on public finances.
