Falls prevention: cost-effective commissioning

This Government resource is designed to help to commissioners and communities provide cost-effective falls prevention activities.

The three documents are:

Return on investment of falls prevention programmes in older people in the community - this tools provides "evidence on the effectiveness and associated costs for interventions aimed at preventing falls in older people living in the community."

A return on investment tool for the assessment of falls prevention programmes for older people living in the community - details how the first tool was constructed; including the main results.

A structured literature review to identify cost-effective interventions to prevent falls in older people living in the community - the last report "summarises the findings from a literature review carried out to identify cost-effective interventions."
