With a contribution by the Housing LIN, this new guide published by The Urban Land Institute sets out examples of innovative practice within the emerging later living sector for funders, developers, architects, and operators.
It provides a number of key messages for the sector, including:
- The growth in the real estate sector
- How Later Living can help solve the care crisis
- The need for long-term planning and legislation, and
- Creating aspirational places for the elderly
To coincide with the launch Russell Pedley, Director & Co-founder of Assael Architecture, and Chair of the ULI Residential Council, has written a guest blog for the Housing LIN. Entitled, Launching the Housing with Care Opportunity, it offers great insight in the Later Living housing market.
