Welcome to TAPPI Cast, our weekly update on the 'Technology for our Ageing Population: Panel for Innovation' (TAPPI) project which aims to improve the way technology is used in housing and care for older people. Includes updates from our 6 Testbeds, Resources and Events of interest.

Updates from our Testbeds:

This week Bield have approved the use of MiFi devices so that we can enlist tenants who don't have broadband in the trial - this has been a big barrier and we are grateful to Anthropos for working with us on this.

Residents from Llys Y Werin have been introduced to an easy-pour kettle. It's hoped that this will be a very useful tool, offering an element of safety as well as enhanced independence.
