As long-term supporters of the Housing LIN, we are delighted to announce that St Monica Trust – the Bristol-based charity with a reputation for providing high-quality accommodation and innovative care for older people – has officially come on board as a corporate sponsor of the Housing LIN’s South West webpages and newly reformed South West region Leadership Set.

The Housing LIN offers peer-to-peer leadership programs for ambitious professionals in housing, health, and social care. In South West England, diverse leaders from various organisations and services unite to implement a comprehensive approach to address the housing, health, and wellbeing needs of the region's older population. And thanks to our partnership with St Monica Trust, we will be able to forge more strategic relationships with our network of senior leaders across the region and identify initiatives to inspire innovative housing solutions for an ageing population in the South West.

David Williams, Chief Executive at St Monica Trust, said:

“I am pleased that St Monica Trust is supporting the HLIN. As a charity with an international reputation for innovation within the housing and care of older people, we look forward to working with other likeminded care and housing providers, pooling our ideas in order to make a real difference to older people’s lives.

St Monica trust is dedicated to creating communities where older people flourish and there is a clear synergy with the ambitions of the HLIN to further the development of the care and housing services for older people as part of integrated communities.”

Jeremy Porteus, CEO at Housing LIN, commented:

“As an active member of the Housing LIN, it brings me great joy to welcome St Monica Trust as a sponsor of the Housing LIN's South West webpages and the region’s newly reformed Leadership Set! We recently explored their remarkable flagship development, The Chocolate Quarter Retirement Village (opens new window), a luxury retirement community near Bristol. This scheme stands out for its vibrant community living, fostered by engaging residents and exceptional facilities. With St Monica Trust's expertise and generous support, we can continue providing invaluable resources and events that promote the well-being of older adults and individuals with disabilities in the south west.”
