The Housing LIN’s Annual Conference 2026 will bring together leaders from housing, health, social care and the built environment to focus on one critical question: how do we shape homes and communities that enable people to live well as they age?

Taking place in Newcastle (24 February) and Bristol (12 March), these conferences will explore three interconnected themes: designing for our ageing future, building community futures, and advancing healthy futures. Anchored by insights from the SHAPE Exchange programme, the event will highlight evidence-led and practical approaches to creating inclusive, care-ready homes and age-friendly neighbourhoods.

Delegates will hear from expert speakers, connect and exchange ideas with peers from across the sector, and learn from real-world examples that demonstrate how housing, technology, design and collaboration can support health, independence and connection in later life.

The conference is designed for professionals across housing associations, local authorities, health and social care, development, architecture, technology and investment who want to shape positive change. Attendance is free, and places are filling quickly!
