We were pleased to be joined by an incredibly inspiring panel of speakers to discuss innovative projects that are improving access to safe, inclusive housing and services for older LGBTQ+ people.
The webinar featured insights from academic and housing sector partners on new research and care models, including extra care housing schemes and inclusive residential environments.
This two-part session began with a new impact project improving access to information and services for older LGBTQ+ people in London, developed with the Universities of Surrey and Hertfordshire, Tonic Housing, and Stonewall.
The second part explored inclusive housing and care models, featuring a Manchester-based extra care scheme by Great Places and the LGBT Foundation, and the University of Kent’s Circle research on LGBTQ+-friendly care environments.
