Now Open: Applications for the 2025 Future Leaders Programme
We are excited to launch the 5th intake of the Future Leaders Programme, designed for early-career professionals with no more than three years of experience in the housing and related sectors. Sponsored by Sovereign Network Group (SNG), this initiative aims to bring together a small, dynamic, and diverse group of up to 10 committed individuals who share a passion for improving housing for our ageing population.
Who Should Apply?
We welcome applicants from a broad range of early career roles across both the social and private housing sectors. Previous cohorts have included individuals working in:
- Operational housing management (general needs and specialist accommodation)
- Home improvement and adaptations
- Occupational therapy
- Health and social care
- Architecture
- Assistive technology
- Property development and planning
- Policy, research and market insights/data
What to Expect
Kicking off on Thursday, 31st July 2025, the programme offers a unique opportunity to gain insights and inspiration from senior leaders across the housing, health, and care sectors. Through their own lived experiences and journeys into leadership, you’ll learn about the values that shaped their leadership, the people who influenced them, and the paths they took.
Each interactive session will be designed to spark lively discussion and the exchange of ideas and experiences. The programme includes up to four in-person or online sessions over the course of the year.
In return, participants will be invited to contribute a guest blog reflecting on their experience and key learnings. You’ll also present a short, collaborative summary at the next Housing LIN Annual Summit – A Festival of Ideas (Spring 2026).
We aim to conclude the programme with a ceremony in the Houses of Parliament in July 2026, where we will present certificates of participation to the 5th cohort of Future Leaders.

To be considered for the 2025 Future Leaders Programme, please submit:
- Your CV
- A 250–300 word statement outlining your motivation for joining and what you can bring to the network
- A letter of support from your employer (on official letterhead), confirming their agreement to release you for at least 4 days over the year
