New factsheet centres on accessible housing

We were pleased to welcome Millie Brown from the Centre for Ageing Better to yesterday's Housing LIN roundtable in Manchester, where she shared the Centre’s new analysis highlighting the limited number of fully accessible homes in the UK and the stark regional disparities, revealing that some residents are six times less likely than others to find an accessible home.
It reports on the trends at a regional level in England and shares how fewer than one in five homes (18%) have level access to the front door, with this figure dropping even lower for people aged 75 and above (17%).
