New Housing LIN blog on the launch of the Home Adaptations Advice Network to support frontline advisors

Working through Foundations' enquiries inbox, Katherine Whitehead has noticed the same gap again and again: people struggling with stairs, baths or doorways often don't know that a Disabled Facilities Grant exists, or where to find someone who understands the process.

That's why Foundations has launched the Home Adaptations Advice Network (HAAN) — a free network for anyone in the voluntary or charity sector who fields questions about home adaptations. Members get plain-English answers, guidance kept current, and a community of people doing the same work. Foundations is running three launch forums in September 2026 to introduce HAAN.
