New blog explores how trusted advisor training is enhancing independent living support in South Wales

In this new Housing LIN guest blog, Janet Seward, Programme Manager at Trusted Assessing and Care Training (TACT), explores the impact of two free Trusted Advisor course taster sessions delivered by TACT in South Wales.

Designed to upskill staff advising on independent living equipment, the course improved learners' confidence and knowledge, with 92% reporting increased capability and all participants recommending it. Attendees from diverse sectors now reach around 60,000 people annually with better-informed advice. The training supports quicker access to solutions and reduces pressure on full assessments.
