The Dementia and Housing Working Group work with the housing sector to improve the quality of life for people living with dementia. The group brings together a range of people from Housing Associations, Charities, Government Departments and a range of other organisations. It seeks to disseminate best practice and influence the dementia and housing agenda at a national level.

The group has always involved people affected by dementia within their workstreams, including the APPG report, ‘Housing for people with dementia – are we ready?’’. The group are now keen to involve people affected by dementia in the planning and prioritising stage of the group’s activity. This will help the group ensure they are taking forward the areas that matter most to people affected by dementia.

The group are inviting new members living with dementia or caring for loved one with dementia and have an interest in this work.

If you are interested in becoming a member of the group, please contact Vanessa Pritchard - Vanessa.Pritchard-Wilkes@housing21.org.uk
