Housing LIN summary of the Autumn Budget 2017

The Chancellor's budget for 2017 was good for first time buyers, but silent on last time buyers.

There was support for building new homes and planning changes to encourage better use of lands in towns and cities.

Meanwhile, on the funding front, there was a welcome extra £42m in year allocation for Disabled Facilities Grant for this year and additional monies for the NHS, including £350m towards pressures this winter. However, surprisingly, there was no mention of social care.
