Housing LIN celebrates co-production week 2025!

Co-Pro-Week-2025-Innovation-Through-Co-Production

This week was the Social Care Institute for Excellence (SCIE)’s Co-production Week 2025, a celebration of the power of co-production to design and develop better ways of doing things in social care.

Co-production aims to ensure that those with lived experience are not only heard but also actively influence the design and delivery of services that affect them.

🧑‍💻Technology for our Ageing Population: Panel for Innovation (TAPPI)
One of our leading initiatives is the TAPPI programme. Through TAPPI, and in collaboration with TSA, Vivensa Foundation (formerly The Dunhill Medical Trust), Cambridge Centre for Housing & Planning Research, and Coproduction Works, we have co-produced national frameworks, piloted digital solutions, and established a Champions’ Network of tenants and staff who have co-designed technology trials across the UK.

This work has helped transform how technology is chosen and implemented in later-life housing, ensuring it genuinely supports independence, wellbeing and digital inclusion.
