Homes England Board meets with sector leaders

Led by Professor Julienne Meyer, chair of the Older People’s Housing Taskforce, along with our CEO Jeremy Porteus, Abbeyfield Living Services’ Director, Abdul Ravat, and Anchor Director and Housing & Ageing Alliance’s chair, Mario Ambrosi, met with Homes England’s Board in Liverpool this week to raise the profile of housing for an ageing population and seek to engage on key recommendations and actions in the Taskforce’s report on investment in both specialist social housing and age-friendly placemaking.

The points landed well and agreement made to maintain open dialogue with the agency as the government considers its response to the Taskforce’s report.
